Online Vehicle Repair Tracking Service Launched
Highway Insurance announced recently that it has forged a partnership with ClaimWatch to offer customers a joint branded vehicle repair tracking service. The launch follows a successful trial and allows potential car insurance policyholders who suffer the misfortune of car damage to be alerted to the status of their vehicle’s repair and whether it is deemed a total loss.
The repair tracking service can be used through an online facility. In addition customers can be updated via mobile phone sms text messages and email. This service feature is only available if Highway’s UK approved car repairer network of garages is used. There are several advantages of the new service including keeping the customer better informed during the vehicle repair process and allowing Highway Insurance to capture more information to help improve the overall service.
This is yet another insurance company who has teamed with ClaimWatch who to date have tracked more than 200,000 vehicles during the car repair process.
