The Kwik-Fit company was established in 1971 and operates from more than 600 service centres across the UK Europe and includes 200 mobile tyre fitting vehicles in the UK. The company currently services the requirements of almost 7.5 million motorists a year. The Kwik- fit Group has also diversified into other businesses including insurance services and car fleets.
All branches offer a wide range of car repair products and services including tyre fitting, brakes, exhaust system and windscreen wiper replacements. Selected Kwik-Fit outlets also offer MOT testing.
Like many other UK national car repair and servicing centres, Kwik-Fit also cater to the vehicle fleet operators and all major car leasing companies. For the business user Kwik-Fit has recently launched a Business Drive Card product that covers businesses with one or more vehicles. The Business Card can be used at all Kwik-Fit outlets and is welcome at over 24,000 fuel and car service outlets throughout the UK. The benefit to the company is that it allows all motoring expenses to be itemised on one bill thus saving time in accounts administration.
The Kwik-Fit Fleet website contains a “postcode” and “place” search facility allowing customers to locate branches by typing in their postcode or place. The search facility also allows the user to locate the nearest car repair and service centre offering MOT testing. There is also an online tyre booking service available to Kwik-Fit account customers and affinity scheme holders.
