This company have recognised that most classic car owners often own two vehicles, one for everyday use and the cherished classic car to be used for pleasure purposes only. In response to this the company has launched their “Collectors Car” comprehensive insurance product.

For your classic car to be eligible for this insurance, annual mileage must not exceed more than 3000 miles and the car must have been manufactured before the 1st January 1990 and not used for everyday transport.

In addition to the benefits of the comprehensive classic car insurance such as windscreen cover and the company's 24 hour Clubline, other benefits of the policy include free breakdown cover should you require assistance, wedding cover (hire and reward) and the option to choose either an agreed value for your classic car for an additional premium or insurance cover at the market value. Wedding cover (Hire & Reward) and off road insurance can also be added to the policy.

Extra discounts are offered if your everyday car is already insured with Norwich Union or the vehicle has been owned by you for at least 3 years. If your annual mileage is less than 1500 miles, further discounts may also apply.

They are one of the first companies to introduce an online indicative premium tool for ease of use and to save prospective customers time when shopping around for classic car insurance quotes. The premium calculations are based on certain assumptions such as driver details, driving history and vehicle details.
