Information for owners of classic cars who are seeking insurance cover through Swinton

Swinton's offer classic car cover through Lancaster Insurance Services Ltd who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Classic car owners seeking online quotes who visit Swinton’s website are simply passed through to Lancaster Insurance Services online quotation service.

In order to be eligible for a quick online quote for your classic car from Swinton Lancaster Insurance, all three drivers allowed to be insured on the policy must be aged between 21 and 70, hold a full UK or EU license for a minimum of 2 years and driven regularly in the UK for at least 12 months. With regards to previous insurance claim history, Swinton Lancaster does not permit any claims in the previous 12 months and only allows a maximum of one in the previous 3 years. Likewise, only minor driving convictions will be allowed – see site for details. Additionally, certain occupations are also excluded.

The classic car to be insured must reside on the UK mainland (excluding Northern Ireland) and not exceed more than £25,000 in value and is to be used for Social, Domestic and Pleasure purposes only plus commuting.
