Churchill should offer an online quote for car insurance provided you and all named drivers are resident in the UK. That the car is kept in England, Scotland, Wales or Isle of Man, is right-hand drive, unmodified and registered in the UK, and has not been or the car will not be imported. All drivers to be named on the policy need to be between the ages of 17 and 79, have held a full UK driving licence for at least 1 year, are not disallowed by the DVLA and none of the drivers have been refused car insurance for any reason or had special terms imposed.

As an offer to save time, if you pay by Direct Debit, This company will automatically renew your car insurance when it becomes due. Premiums may be paid by credit card, debit card or monthly direct debit (for which a credit charge is made. Up to 3 additional named car drivers can be added to the insurance policy between the ages of 17 and 79.

Your no claims discount can be carried forward from your previous insurer and it can be protected if you have four or more years no claims discount on comprehensive car insurance or third party, fire and theft cover.

In the case of accident or insured loss, there is a 24 hour claims helpline which provides links to their nationwide Recommended Repairer Scheme if necessary, all repair work carried out by recommended car repairers is guaranteed for 5 years. If these are used there is no need for estimates, insurance work can start immediately. You can also register and track a claim online.

Legal Assistance is available as an optional extra, as is a range of breakdown insurance and rescue services, provided by Green Flag Motoring Assistance.

Car sharing* to and from work etc. is written into the insurance policy and is totally acceptable, for social or similar purposes, provided there is no profit being made from any financial arrangements, it is not part of a business and the vehicle can carry no more than 8 people.

Cover for foreign travel within the Territorial Limits*, for up to 90 days, is included in the standard car insurance premium, provided your main permanent residence is in the UK.

Medical expenses* cover for treatment of the driver and passengers following an accident involving your car, and Personal Accident Benefits* cover for driver or spouse are payable in the event of death, loss of sight in one or both eyes or loss of one or more limbs, financial limits will be identified in the policy schedule.
