Co-operative Insurance (CIS) is part of Co-operative Financial Services, an integrated financial services business within the Co-operative Group. The Co-op has been around since 1867, and has around 6 million customers and currently administers more than £20 billion with life and general insurance premium income totalling £2 billion.

The commitment to home service financial advisors has resulted in excellent customer retention rates of 72% for car insurance and 90% for home insurance.
