The Euclidian Group was formed in 1994 and is recognised as one of the leading companies in the London Insurance market. The ultimate holding company of the Euclidian Group is Euc Re.

Euclidian's subsidiary company, Euclidian Underwriting Limited, manages Syndicate 1243 at Lloyds and now has a capacity of £251 million for the 2004 underwriting year of account. Euclidian was the first corporate vehicle to start a Lloyds Managing Agency from scratch in 1997, and to establish a new Composite Syndicate – 1243. This provides brokers with an innovative new opportunity to place specialist categories of business. The group underwriting services includes classic car insurance damage cover and caravan insurance.

The group also provides broking services via its subsidiary company, Euclidian Direct Limited, a member of GISC. Euclidian Direct Limited provides a full range of broking services that encompass everything from pet, travel, caravan, household and landlord property insurance, tenant buildings & contents and commercial property insurance.

Recently, EDL has developed an online facility for its affinity partner, the Camping and Caravanning Club allowing both members and non-members the ability to purchase caravan, trailer-tent, trailer and tent insurance online.
